Integration of the Sgo News system in the MAM Videoma of ISID

ISID has just signed an agreement with Sgo for the integration of the Sgo News system into the Media Asset Manager (MAM), Videoma. The idea of ​​this union is to be able to offer a product that completes the workflow of a television or production company: ingestion, archiving, cataloguing, management, and now, also, connection with a news management system.

The idea of ​​this union is to be able to offer a product that completes the workflow of a television or production company: ingestion, archiving, cataloging, management, and now also connection with a news management system.

Thanks to this agreement, a new module is incorporated into Videoma Archivo, which allows the connection between the MAM file system and the Sgo News editing system.

According to Antonio Albacete, director of operations at ISID, "we have technically reviewed other manufacturers and after their evaluation, we believe that SGO perfectly meets what we are looking for to complete the entire news editing part. In addition, we already have a good relationship with SGO, so it seems natural to us to start collaborating with them."

Sgo News is a modular product designed to manage the specific tasks necessary for journalists in a news department; produce and manage files for television programming.

With this integration, a solution is offered that will allow television stations and production companies to have their videos organized with media ingestion through watchfolders, cataloging based on metadata templates, clipping, format coding, API for video delivery on web portals and, now, news production.
