Everything under control, with Crestron, at ISE 2011

Starting from a concept of “Visioneering” as engineering of the future and anticipating needs to solve them before they become a problem, the North American Crestron has presented at ISE 2011 numerous new developments in home automation, network technology, control and distribution of AV signals and ultra-light high-definition touch panels.

In audio, the new Procise series of professional processors allows you to create a totally immersive experience. The PSPHD high-definition audio processor with 7.3 surround sound is designed for commercial and residential applications by establishing intelligent communication with the PROAMP-7X400 or PROAMP-7X250 7-channel amplifiers.

In home control, Crestron's proposal is Prodigy, with a wide range of affordable and easy-to-install and use solutions for audio, lighting and climate control.

As for the new 24X8 digital audio system, with Sonnex audio transport technology, it integrates high-performance digital audio processing, matrix switching and high-power amplification into a single component.
For long distances, DigitalMedia 8G technology offers high speed transmission of all types of data (control, analog and digital AV signals...) over a high-performance cable.

ISE 2011 is also the European debut of the GLPAC-DIMFLV integrated lighting system capable of interconnecting with each other, and with the different touch panels, all the lighting controllers in classrooms, conference rooms or offices. GLPACs can control up to four independent rooms.

Also worth noting is the new line of ultra-flat touch panels, V-Panel, which can be used either as a control panel interface, HD display or to integrate VoIP communications, PC extensions, USB-HID control or on-screen annotations, for example.

iPanel

Crestron has launched its new iPanel at ISE, a product that turns any iPad into a powerful two-way wireless touch control.

This device gives quick access through physical buttons to the most used functions, such as volume control, mute, and guide channel navigation. The iPanel ships with a charging docking station, and future models will feature media streaming.

Crambo Visuales, exclusive distributor in Spain of the Prodigy range

Crestron has announced at ISE 2011 that Crambo Visuales will distribute exclusively for Spain the Prodigy range of home automation and audio/video products with simple solutions for digital home control.

Prodigy offers affordable, simplified control of any space, keeping music, lights, thermostats and security at your fingertips anywhere. Hence, all the products in this range are designed to work perfectly together, without the need for complex installations or wiring.

This solution is conceived as a flexible and scalable platform in such a way that the system can be expanded at any time. Thus, you can start with Home Cinema. Distributing music everywhere in the house, then adding lighting and climate control, as well as mobile and portable devices.
