Ovide supplies equipment to 'Piratas', the new Telecinco series
Con un 17,2% de share este lunes Telecinco estrenaba su principal apuesta de la temporara, ‘Piratas’. Para la serie, Ovide ha suministrado a Mandarina Producciones varias cámaras Panasonic AJ-HPX2100 AVC-Intra y ópticas Digiprime y Digizoom.
Telecinco y Mandarina Producciones han puesto en marcha el primer y ambicioso proyecto de ficción para televisión de este género, que aúna comedia y aventuras, consiguiendo un 17,2% de share en la noche de su estreno.
In August 2010, filming began in natural locations in La Coruña and Pontevedra for the new Telecinco series: Pirates.
The fictional series, which focuses its plot on the adventures of a down-and-out nobleman who must become a pirate, was made by Mandarina Producciones and was filmed with cameras. Panasonic AJ-HPX2100 AVC-Intra, and Digiprime and Digizoom optics, among other equipment supplied by Ovid.
The long-awaited series, which has reached almost three and a half million viewers on the night of its premiere, has Oscar Jaenada (Álvaro Mondego) and Pilar Rubio (Carmen Bocanegra), who play the protagonists. Entre el resto de personajes principales nos encontramos con reputados actores como Silvia Abascal, Aitor Mazo, Luis Zahera, Xenia Tostado, Octavi Pujades y Miguel Ortiz, entre otros.
The ambitious project will have eight initial chapters and has been recorded almost entirely in natural settings on the Galician Atlantic coast, including the galleon, restored for the occasion.
