The first Chinese television consortium chooses the Kit Digital platform to broadcast its videos on the screens of millions of Chinese homes. With a simple click, users will be able to watch TV programs, video on demand (VOD) or even the syndication of programs (catch-up TV) on their computers or mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android...).

Kit Digital, a premium provider of cloud computing solutions and multi-screen video delivery technology services, has announced that its multi-screen IP video platform will be the basis of the new China United Television (CUTV) project. It is a new communication platform developed by a consortium made up of 14 television channels and 5 leading newspapers in China led by the Shenzhen Media group.

Kaleil Isaza Tuzman, CEO of Kit Digital, highlighted that "today we are the only ones able to bridge the gap between traditional digital video systems and the systems of the future based on IP (Internet Protocol). This service will offer Chinese users an unparalleled experience in terms of diversity of content (from various local television channels) and technology. It will allow Chinese homes to access this content at all times through any screen with an internet connection."

Kit Digital offers CUTV a scalable platform to which hundreds of local and regional television channels from all over China will be accessed. With a simple click, users will be able to watch TV programs, video on demand (VOD) or even the syndication of programs (catch-up TV) on their computers or mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android...). Digital KIT solutions favor China's entry into a new audiovisual era, more interactive and more social.

In addition, KIT digital has signed a strategic alliance with Shenzhen Sun Camera Web Technology to adapt and distribute its solutions in the Chinese market. In collaboration with Sun Camera, KIT digital will provide a permanent support and maintenance service to the CUTV platform.
