After five years of research, Biquad has launched a processor that, with a built-in touch screen, allows parameter control via IP for AM, FM, TV and NET configurations.

After five years of research, Biquad has launched an interesting processor on the market. The DAP4 has been created to meet the audio processing needs of broadcasters, supplied with factory presets (it can also be configured by the user). It has an LCD touch display to view the VUs, interface with a PC through a USB or Ethernet port to adjust processing parameters, access and control via IP, software updates by download and compatibility with analog or digital transmission.

It also features a ten-band equalizer, four-band compressors with optimized settings, and eight limiters with independent clippers for each processing band. The L/R input and output converters feature 24 bits of resolution, 96 KHz sampling and independent, balanced and unbalanced analogue, AES-3 digital and MPX stereo outputs can be used. An innovative feature of the DAP4 is Soft Release, an intelligent parameter control for the attack and release times of the AGCs (automatic gain controls), compressors and limiters that provide an artifact-free signal.
