Omnia A/XE, new generation of audio processing on Windows
High coding and processing capacity in a solution with multiple applications and low bitrate.
Omnia has launched a new generation of audio processing software for Windows environments that combines the elegance and power of Omnia processing with advanced encoding capabilities. The new Omnia A/XE can process audio for numerous applications with a low and linear bitrate. One of the advantages of this system is that it can be controlled and governed completely remotely via browser, processing and encoding multiple streams in various formats simultaneously.
The new Virtual Patch Cable allows the Omnia A/XE to receive, process, and send audio to any other software on the PC. The stream can also be captured with the “now-playing” information received from an automation system or any other application. One of the advantages of this solution is that the streams can be programmed to start or stop at any predefined time, modifying the processing modes in each case by choosing, for example, one mode for the morning streams and another for the afternoon streams. The Omnia A/XE allows band adjustment with three compressors/limiters, and features a low-pass filter and equalizer.
