Consumer electronics meet in Berlin

IFA 2011 sets new records, reaching the number of 1,441 exhibitors who will occupy an area of ​​140,200 m² at the Berlin fair from September 2 to 7.

IFA 2011, one of the largest global fairs dedicated to consumer electronics and home appliances, opens its doors this September 2 until the 7th with an additional 4 percent increase in the exhibition display area. In total, 1,441 thousand exhibitors will show their proposals (1% more than last year).

Toshiba's CEO, Masaaki Osumi, will be in charge of giving the opening conference on the 2nd of a fair that will be dominated for yet another year by a veritable invasion of tablets and smartphones of all kinds.
