Snell Simplifies Signal Routing with Centra Vite

Centra Vite will also allow operators to configure and design hardware control panels, edit signal names, configure associations for multi-level system support, and establish more advanced features including reference selection, switching point, inhibit, and the ability to configure different protocols for different serial and IP ports. A new snapshot application stores the live status of all routes or a selection of routes, allowing them to be reclaimed later – an invaluable feature for updating or moving the router from one location to another when working with mobile units. Additionally, a web interface allows soft panels to be used for remote crosspoint establishment.

Snell ha anunciado también que la solución única proporcionada por la plataforma ScreenToo “segunda pantalla” de “The Application Store” (TAS), alimentado por el sistema de automatización Morpheus de Snell, hará su debut europeo en el IBC 2011. By providing metadata that is precisely timed, Morpheus triggers ScreenToo to provide the consumer with options that directly correspond to events within the primary broadcast. Metadata covering the program and the content of the program allows ScreenToo to activate the target audience for advertising, provide information about a character or an actor or launch a survey. This technology, which broadcast and media organizations can distribute as their own branded application, allows broadcasters to monetize their content and generate new revenue from quality interactions.
