Based on the AEQ Arena console and customer feedback, one of the stars at IBC will be the new Forum compact digital audio and television console that offers the highest performance in digital audio in a self-contained modular design.

AEQ will present at IBC 2011 its new compact digital audio console for radio and television applications Forum. Based on the experience of the popular Arena, this table supports analog, digital (AES – SPDIF), microphone inputs and outputs (with Micro / Line and Phantom selection) and has a multichannel MADI port. Forum can route 64x64 input and output channels (analog, digital or microphone) plus another 64x64 on the MADI link.

It provides exceptional audio quality and flexibility of use through DSP, integrating equalizers, filters, dynamics control,,,, while maintaining simple operation and maintenance, valid for beginners and advanced users.

Simplicity and control power allow this console to cover both the most basic and advanced operating needs, starting with a minimum control surface of 4 faders and can be easily expanded up to 8 and 12 independent channels.

All the basic activation, level adjustment and routing functions have their specific control on each channel on the FORUM surface, while the less common settings are included in a set of contextual controls common to all channels and accessible with just one or two presses: simplicity and clarity of use for very dynamic control without manipulation errors.

Titan

At its stand in Amsterdam, IBC will also show the Titan concentrator (high speed digital audio router), a high-capacity digital audio matrix, 5120 x 5120 audio channels, equipped with five bidirectional ports for fiber optics, capable of connecting, in each of them, a stream of 1024 channels, with non-blocking architecture. As in the rest of the BC 2000 D system, the control system is based on a TCP/IP architecture, with the two controllers operating in cluster mode, offering a single virtual IP address to the control interface.

Fully integrated into the BC 2000 D system, the audio connection is made through five bidirectional fiber optic ports, directly compatible with the BC 2000 D – BC 2213 card. In this way, submatrices of 1024 x 1024 audio channels can be connected to form higher structures, maintaining the non-blocking characteristic at all times, until the maximum capacity of 5120 x 5120 is reached.
The BC 2000 D Router – Titan Array Hub is designed to work as an audio switching core in critical systems. Maintenance of the equipment can be carried out in a minimum of time and without having to dismantle it from the rack in which it is housed.

Opera

In 1987 AEQ launched its first broadcast audio console. In more than 20 years, the Spanish company has sold many thousands of devices with a total of 9 models, with the commitment to robustness, full functionality and absolute sound quality. Its design and configuration ensure rapid assimilation of its functions by the user. The logical distribution of controls and automatic functions for cutting monitors, signaling, etc., simplify the work of technicians.

Opera is configurable according to needs with equalized micro-line modules, double stereo line modules, input-output modules and output modules. Starting from a standard configuration, it can be easily expanded with new modules. The option of incorporating one or two digital telephone hybrids with frequency extension and multiplex gives additional value.

AM-04

The AEQ AM-04 rackable audio monitor covers the audio monitoring needs in VTR rooms, mobile units, television and radio controls, multimedia systems…. and other environments in which the presence and basic characteristics of a high density of audio and video signals must be monitored.

All the equipment's control knobs, basically switches and rotary controls, are located on the front panel, in order to make the user's work as easy as possible and avoid the slowness and possible manipulation errors that menu controls present.

It occupies a single 19" standard rack unit, which has magnetic shielding for use near cathode ray tube monitors. Despite the tight dimensions, the audio has outstanding quality, since it has two or three amplification paths per channel. They incorporate basic signal measurement indicators.

AM-04 also has a follower output to be able to listen to the selected signal through high-quality monitors and a headphone jack for more careful immediate listening.

AEQ MAR4Suite

At IBC we will also be able to see MAR4Suite PRO, an advanced automation, management and emission system for professional broadcasting. It integrates the most powerful tools designed to carry out all the usual jobs in a radio station. Sounds, texts and patterns or lists can be created, edited and broadcast from MAR4Suite PRO. These three types of information are stored in large information repositories available to all users of a network or WAN, on a user's terminal (locally) or on removable drives.

This system integrates audio editors, teletype receivers, audio and text applications for editors, automatic chronicle recorders, continuity recorders, program distribution on the Intranet, automatic program creation modules, manual broadcast support modules, teleprompter for announcers, management and billing applications and others, in addition to having the capacity to link with complementary applications from other providers.

Codecs IP

Applying AEQ's more than 15 years of experience in the development of codecs, and after the Phoenix Mobile, the Phoenix Studio now arrives as an IP codec for stationary applications in rackable format.
