Save Diffusion presents the new Axia Radius console at Broadcast 2011
Save Diffusion Spain participates for the first time in Broadcast IT! with Axia's new Radius digital desk for broadcasting.
Save Diffusion Spain is unveiling at Broadcast the new Axia Radius digital mixing console, the easiest to use AoIP console, since it is only necessary to connect the 8-fader mixing surface to the Radius Core (a sophisticated integrated mixing engine), and connect the sources and power.
Radius has three stereo program buses, plus a stereo utility bus that can be used to record phone calls or non-broadcast parts, or as a fourth program bus. Radius generates automatic mix-minus for phone calls and remote participants, helping to ensure a consistent and smooth development program.
Multi-segment LED meters are switchable for VU and PPM readings, and a high-resolution OLED display shows source assignments for each fader, audio options, and more. You can save and recall Show Profiles that instantly load commonly used console configurations. It is a very compact and autonomous unit, although its Gigabit ports can also be connected to other studios. The Radius Network Gateway allows you to upload up to 12 audio sources from anywhere on a Livewire network, while returning up to 4 local streams to the network.
Like all Axia consoles, it has been manufactured for high long-term reliability, ready to withstand everything its users ask of it. It has a machined aluminum frame, smooth conductive plastic faders and rotary controls, as well as a high-resolution OLED display on each fader. The Radius Core has audio inputs and outputs, GPIO, console CPU, power supply, even a network switch. It is only necessary to connect the microphones, CD players, codecs, delays against inappropriate expressions, and any other necessary equipment.
It has 16 input/output ports: two microphone inputs with switchable phantom power, eight analog inputs and four analog outputs, one AES/EBU input and one output, four GPIO logic ports for controlling studio peripheral machinery, six 100Base-T ports for Livewire devices and two Gigabit ports with SFP for external connection.
