To show the incipient association of these two sectors in the context of Spanish cinema, the Academy dedicates two days to these two worlds that intermingle and feed each other.

The link between cinema and video games is becoming closer. There are more and more adaptations between these two industries that, although born in isolation, are massive and generalized entertainment media with the same objective: audiovisual storytelling.

To show the incipient association of these two sectors in the context of Spanish cinema, the Academy dedicates two days to these two worlds that intermingle and feed each other.

The special includes the screening of Planet 51, by Jorge Blanco, Javier Abad and Marcos Martínez (December 14, at 8:00 p.m.) and The chronocrimes, by Nacho Vigalondo, with Karra Elejalde and Bárbara Goenaga (day 15, at seven in the afternoon).

After the screening of this latest film, a discussion will be held with two of the most recognized figures in the Spanish video game industry: Iván Lobo and Gonzo Suárez, main promoters of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, who will be accompanied by José Garasino, general director of the Film Academy.
