Film director Nacho Vigalondo and Araneae Martín, professional eSports player from League of Legends, have been present at the event and have answered, through a fun game of questions against the clock, questions related to the festival.

Nacho Vigalondo (Extraterrestrial, Chronocrimes…), has made clear his interest in participating at some point in his career in the design or script of a video game. He considers that “the relationship between cinema and video games is natural” and admits that he would like to explore the audiovisual language of video games as a continuation of his film career.

For its part, Araneae commented on the pleasant memories he took away from his time at the festival in the last edition and his total support for a Festival like this one that seeks to bring eSports tournaments closer to a more open public and less from the sector.

The eSports Tournaments, (electronic sports), in which Araenae will participate, will have a prominent presence this year at the Festival, since there will be several meetings in which renowned professional players from this competition that has legions of followers throughout the world will participate.

In this third edition, the festival will continue to feature The Serious Games Congress. One of the most prominent speakers at the conferences will be Ian Livingstong, who launched the franchise Tomb Raider. And in the Fun Games category, the festival will feature the presence of video game guru Tommy Palm, creator of the world-famous Candy Crush.

On the other hand, the finalists for the leisure video game awards in the 20 existing categories have already been announced. More information, here.
