138 movies participate in the IV Gaudí Prizes of the Catalan Academy.

A total of 138 films enter the IV Gaudí Premis of the Catalan Cinema Academy that will be delivered on February 6 at the Artèria Pararal·lel Theater in Barcelona in an act broadcast on Televisió de Catalunya.

The 307 academics and academic with the right to vote must broadcast their verdict in two turns of voting on the films released in Catalonia until December 9, 2011. In the first round of voting, started on December 12, 22 fiction feature films, 19 European feature films, 32 documentary films, 6 animation films, 13 films for television and 46 short films concur.

On Tuesday, January 4, 2012, the four nominees of each of the 22 categories in a public act that will take place in La Pedrera will be announced. The second round of voting will begin on January 9 and will end on the same day of the IV Gaudí Awards on February 6.

On Wednesday, December 21, the Catalan Cinema Academy will announce the name of the Gaudí Award for Honor, which in the previous editions distinguished Jaime Camino, Josep Maria Forn and Jordi Dauder.
