Carla Simón triumphs again at the Gaudí Awards
The Catalan Film Academy ha galardonado con los Premis Gaudí a las mejores producciones cinematográficas del 2022 en 26 categorías, además del reconocimiento del Premi Gaudí d’Honor – Miquel Porter entregado al cronista y divulgador Jaume Figueras.
La entrega de la 15ª edición celebrada ese domingo en el Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya congregó a la industria cinematográfica con el recuerdo muy vivo del director y guionista Agustí Villaronga quien había fallecido apenas unas horas antes. La gran vencedora de la noche, Carla Simon, had a memory for Villaronga as soon as he stepped on the red carpet, stating that it is "very poetic that Agustí has died just today, the day we are celebrating Catalan cinema, when we can all get together to remember him."
His last film, Alcarras, y Pacifiction, by Albert Serra, have won the Gaudí Awards for best film and best film in a non-Catalan language, respectively, in an edition whose awards have been widely distributed and have also recognized the merits of Liège, with the awards for Best Novel Direction for Mikel Gurrea and better leading performances, and One year, one night, of Isaki Lacuesta, which has won up to five statuettes.

In the case of Pacifiction, que la semana pasada se llevaba tres premios Lumière en Francia, la Acadèmia del Cinema Català le ha reconocido con los Gaudí a la mejor dirección artística to Sebastian Vogler y best photography to Artur Tort.
Una noche muy repartida
La ceremonia de entrega de los XV Premios Gaudí no ha dejado prácticamente ninguno de los títulos más nominados sin recompensa: a los ya citados hay que añadir los dos galardones que se han llevado The maternal, of Pilar Palomero, y The crooked lines of God, of Oriol Paulo.

For its part, The crooked lines of God has won awards for best wardrobe by Alberto Valcárcel already better makeup and hair by Montse Sanfeliu and Carolina Atxukarro. It is also worth highlighting the Gaudí obtained by Tadeo Jones 3: The Emerald Tablet, of Enrique Gato, as best animated film, and for Six August nights, with which Ventura Durall proposes the story of the beloved death of Lluís Maria Xirinachs, as best film for television.
In the interpretive record, Pol López y Vicky Luengo, headliners Suro, have won the awards for best leading actor and actress. For its part, Angela Cervantes wins his second Gaudí in a row (last year, for Chavalas), both as best supporting actress, and her daughter in the fiction of La maternal, layoung Carla Quilez, only fourteen years old, has won the award in the new category of best new performance, after taking the Silver Shell at the last San Sebastián Festival.
