Signiant Media Exchange 9.5: secure content transfer in professional environments
At BVE 2012, Signiant will show version 9.5 of its Media Exchange solution, a private and professional cloud for fast and secure file transfer in media and entertainment environments.
The next generation Media Exchange (MX) is a private cloud solution developed by significator for fast and secure file transfer designed specifically for the business needs of content providers, large studios and post-production companies. In addition to a browser-based client to share large files more efficiently, MX 9.5, which we can see in London on the occasion of BVE 2012, expands the user's options to automate the sending of content to any desktop or mobile device in an unattended way.
Once content is downloaded, users can log into the MX browser with the same credentials they use with their customers and select the content channels they want to subscribe to. Users will receive unattended updates as they become available without having to check for new content or wait for downloads.
In this way, Signiant automates, accelerates, securely manages and controls the movement of high-value digital content between media and entertainment companies. Signiant solutions go beyond simple transportation to streamline file-based workflows and facilitate the integration of IT infrastructure with media technology. From content creation to multi-platform distribution, Signiant software can enable new business models, reduce costs and integrate with existing investments.
The technology of this company, based in Burlington (Massachusetts) and a development center in Ottawa, already connects thousands of companies and professionals on average in more than 50 countries.
