Dish México closed 2011 with 2.3 million subscribers
The company chaired by Ernesto Vargas gains 100,000 subscribers in one year.
The satellite television company Dish México closed last year with 2.3 million subscribers. Dish Mexico, a joint firm between the Mexican MVS Comunicaciones and the American EchoStar, stated in early 2011 that it had 2.2 million pay TV subscribers in the country.
The company chaired by Ernesto Vargas maintains a commercial alliance with the Mexican landline and Internet operator Telmex, owned by magnate Carlos Slim, through which Telmex provides billing and collection services to clients of the pay TV company.
