Store and play from HD to 4K with the new DVS Pronto 4K
The new DVS Pronto4K allows you to work with compressed and uncompressed material from HD to 4K (play out) as well as with SD, HD and 2K for real-time capture.
DVS has added the new Pronto4K to its family of Pronto disk recorders. Thanks to its powerful hardware and innovative software, Pronto4K is a storage system for broadcast, post-production and presentation environments. Furthermore, the ability to display uncompressed video material allows for the best possible image quality, even when dealing with large projections.

With support for a wide variety of file formats and 3D play out up to 2K resolution, the new Pronto 4K is extremely flexible. In presentation environments, content can be projected onto walls or screens through one HDMI 1.4a or four HDMI 1.3 interfaces. Stereoscopic material can be distributed via one HDMI 1.4a, two HDMI 1.3 or two 3-Gbit/s SDI interfaces.
Additionally, by synchronizing multiple Pronto4K disk recorders it is possible to carry out complex multi-screen presentations.
Soon 4K supports uncompressed video, as well as compressed formats such as MPEG, DVCPRO, AVC-Intra, XDCAM and DNxHD, and can be processed in the timeline without the need for conversion. What's more, the data can be processed directly using the DVS disk recorder thanks to the editing and shaping functions.
Pronto4K supports the latest interfaces and can be controlled via SOAP or a Web service, for example. And as open systems, all members of the Pronto family are easy to implement into existing workflows.
