Tim Claman, new CTO at Quantel

Como director de tecnología de Avid, ayudó a dar forma a la estrategia tecnológica y de producto de la compañía durante un período de 14 años.

Quantel ha anunciado este lunes el nombramiento de Tim Claman como su nuevo CTO (Chief Technology Officer).
Claman llega a Quantel con una gran experiencia adquirida tanto como proveedor y usuario de tecnología broadcast y psotproducción.

As Avid's chief technology officer, he helped shape the company's technology and product strategy over a 14-year period. He had previously worked with leading US post-production facilities, helping advance the digital era and working on many high-profile feature films and television productions. Before working in film and television, Claman was a professional recording engineer and musician in Los Angeles.

The new CTO admits that he is "delighted to be joining Quantel at a very exciting time in its development. Quantel's ideas and innovations can truly transform our industry and I am looking forward to playing an important role in helping make this happen, it is a natural fit for me."

For his part, Simon Rogers, director of R&D Quantel, highlighted that "Tim's skills and experience will be a great asset for Quantel, especially in bringing our services based on the exciting revolutionQ software to the market. The US has always been a very important market for Quantel and having a technology director of Tim's capabilities will ensure that we can stay as close as possible to the needs and aspirations of our customers."
