Flexibility in playout

Like all Spectrum components, ChannelPort provides support for multiple video formats and file wrappers, as well as audio and ancillary data. Both channels allow up/down/crossconversion to be carried out without affecting the number of channels or performance. Additionally, you can playout SD, HD MPEG-2 and DV material by mixing it into the same timeline with Simulcast on each channel.
Channel Branding

ChannelPort makes it easy to incorporate branding elements into video playout using standard graphics applications such as Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. It also supports all image formats (PNG, JPG, TIFF, GIF) and sequences (Targa, FLV).

The final look that we will see on the screen can be designed thanks to the use of templates on Adobe Flash Professional, carrying out a preview with the Harmonic Preview Tool application. The same graphic elements can be shared across all distributed channels, including mobile and web.

Automation

ChannelPort's high compatibility allows it to interface with industry-leading automation systems. Clip playback can also be controlled via VDCP/BVW via RS-422, or over a network using the native Spectrum API.
