Color correction at the London Marathon with Eyeheight

The London Marathon uses a total of eight Eyeheight CC-2M color correctors to give uniqueness to all the wireless signals used to cover the entire course.

A total of six color correctors Eyeheight CC-2M gave uniqueness to the different signals used in the broadcast of the recently held London Marathon. Martin Moore, sales director at Eyeheight, highlighted that these correctors were used to process all video sources sent wirelessly from different points along the route. The six modular correctors were housed in a chassis under a front panel control that helped correct the signals automatically giving a uniqueness to all the signals.

The CC-2M corrector offers real-time adjustment of red, green and blue levels, in addition to master gain, gamma retouching... A configurable preview output shows the image before and after processing.

Each CC-2M features a dedicated control panel that can be operated under an Eyeheight I-Bus network allowing each panel to control up to six modular corrector cards in a single simple rack unit with simple channel switching. Up to eight panels can be placed in a network.
