Leader introduces options for loudness, lip-sync and surround in its LV5770 analyzer
Leader Instruments has announced a new optional audio card that will expand the capabilities of its LV5770 multi-monitor analyzer.
The new OP43 audio card from Leader For your LV5770 signal analyzer it will offer the possibility of measuring loudness, lyp-sync and surround. These options double the total number of audio capabilities currently available on the LV5770 which include inputs/outputs for 16 channels of AES/EBU embedded audio, Dolby evaluation and decoding, and conversion of eight discrete or embedded digital channels to analog signals.
The new OP43 card will allow camera operators, playout supervisors or post-production teams to monitor that signals comply with the Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation Act or EBU Recommendation 128.
Regarding lip synchronization monitoring, it allows you to alert when a delay occurs between audio and video from the moment of acquisition to transmission.
The LV5770 signal analyzer is a compact device that supports 3G, HD dual link, HD-SDI and SD-SDI. Its modular design allows easy customization according to the user's needs.
Signal, vector, data, color bar and program signal measurements can be displayed individually or in quad-split mode on the device's 6.3-inch XGA LCD screen.
Video frames can be captured whenever the user wants or when an error is detected automatically.
