Leader LVB440 - JPEG XS

Files encoded in JPEG XS can now be analyzed by the LVB440 of Leader, designed to monitor and analyze content traffic over IP networks.

Intended to be used in studies of broadcast production, mobile units, master control facilities y transmission networks, he LVB440 of Leader allows you to analyze the data flow SD, HD, UHD and 4K in IP networks. Housed in a single rack unit chassis, the system enables production teams to perform real-time testing of large numbers of streams and multiple resolutions in parallel at multiple locations. The LVB440 is controlled via a web browser HTML-5 and can be operated by up to eight local or remote users. On the other hand, it supports data transmission rates of 10, 25, 40 and 50 gigabits/s, extending up to 100 gigabits/s through dual interfaces.

Thanks to its latest update, the Leader LVB440 has received four new functions. The compression analysis capacity stands out above the rest JPEG XS, an especially useful standard when there is limited bandwidth within a production network or when there is a lack of control over the precision of synchronization that can be achieved between the leader and follower PTP clocks on the long-distance networks connecting the studio and broadcast location.

The rest of the new LVB440 functions will also be of important use to its users. Regarding subtitling, users will now be able to analyze data OP-47, CEA-608 and CEA-708, including on-screen display and technical debugging. On the other hand, the Leader solution can also visualize 5.1 and 7.1 multichannel surround sound, in addition to the monitor mix LUFS (Loudness Unit Full Scale) to stereo pair, for remote monitoring through a web browser.

Finally, the Leader LVB440 is reinforced with a new mode called “Continuous packet capture measurement”, el cual admite la captura continua de paquetes de datos en modo de bucle, lo que simplifica la búsqueda de fallos si se detecta un error.
