Producer Oriol Ivern, founder of Cromosoma, dies
Ivern founded Cromosoma in 1988, a company in which the children's series 'The Three Twins (Les tres bessones)' was born.
In full preparation of the film version of the successful animated series The three twins (Les tres bessones), fate wanted to take producer Oriol Ivern to Barcelona today at the age of 65.
Founder of Cromosoma in 1988, one of the studios with the greatest international projection, Ivern has set a style not only in the field of animation but also in interesting documentary and fiction projects.
His latest work as co-producer, along with Perro Verde, was the feature film Wrinkles, an animated production that was awarded two Goya Awards.
The Spanish Animation Federation-Diboos has regretted the loss of the producer and has highlighted its involvement in defending the Spanish animation sector.
