Panasonic PTZ remote cameras in the new ABC reality show
The Panasonic AW-HE120 HD pan/tilt/zoom remote cameras collect all the movements of the fourteen participants in The Glass House, the new reality show that ABC has just premiered.

Bexel Broadcast Services (Burbank, California) has supplied a total of 21 AW-HE120 cameras for the production of the reality show. Additionally, you have installed four Panasonic AW-RP50 drivers for remote cameras. All cameras are controlled by a network with each RP50 controlling five cameras. ABC chose the AW-HE120 precisely because of its network integration capacity and its high image quality.

All footage from the cameras at 720p/59.94 is encoded into OP-1a MXF files. Cinedecks are handling the encryption, and the files are hosted directly to the SAN and Avid ISIS. All control of digital asset ingestion and management is carried out through Pronology.
