To cover the Asian Beach Games, CCTV deployed four mobile units and a team of more than 300 people.

CCTV Kehua, a subsidiary of Chinese public broadcaster CCTV, has deployed several EVS for coverage of the Asian Beach Games recently held in Haiyang (China).

CCTV relied on EVS systems to cover 150 hours of games in which more than 1,600 athletes from 45 nations participated in sports such as beach basketball, beach soccer, beach volleyball, sailing, water skiing...

To cover these games, CCTV deployed four mobile units and a team of more than 300 people.

Along with the XT3 servers, CCTV deployed four EVS IPDirector suites for live image recording and two for clip browsing and highlight editing. A seventh IPDirector suite was used for control ingestion, broadcast scheduling, and browsing. The EVS XFile application was used for archiving at the same time as content capture.
