CCTV installs Lawo V__matrix in the first all-IP mobile studio in China

The project's multi-display design is based on three Lawo V__matrix systems using 19 C-100 core processing modules and 19 Lawo vm-dmv Virtual Module installations.

China Central Television (CCTV) has launched the first complete mobile IP video system for video production. This first mobile studio project in China uses software-defined IP multi-display, processing and routing platform Theirs V__matrix as its core technological infrastructure.

CCTV, together with Lawo China and its partner Acro-bright, worked in cooperation with China's regional system integrator, Beijing Yutian, to achieve this success, the latest in a series of joint Lawo/CCTV installations including HD/UHD mobile units, audio SCRs, and studios at CCTV's Beijing headquarters.

The UHD 4K designed mobile studio facility, originally planned to play a central role during the 2020 Summer Games broadcasts from Tokyo, began construction in January 2019 under the supervision of CCTV's Production Department.
