Lawo Smart - TV Center

Una amplia selección de sistemas IP de vídeo, red y control de Theirs han hecho posible el nuevo estudio ST2110 de la televisión rusa TV Center (TVC), con sede en Moscú.

En la que es la primera fase de la televisión en su transición hacia la tecnología IP, TVC se ha embarcado en una importante renovación técnica de su sala de control central y de dos estudios adicionales. Tras un exhaustivo estudio de mercado, el integrador moscovita DNK se decantó por Theirs.

DNK, en colaboración con TVC y el propio fabricante, implementó la solución de control y flujo de trabajo de emisión IP VSM (Virtual Studio Manager), as well as the software-defined IP core routing, processing and multiview platform V__matrix. This was only possible with Lawo's VSM, V__matrix, SMART and A__line interconnect equipment."

VSM de Lawo is responsible for providing a control system for all those IP-based systems that are installed in the studio, control room and mobile units. The solution is capable of managing major routers and video/audio mixers, intercoms, UMDs and multiviewers, queue and other third-party baseband and IP devices.

For signal monitoring, the distributed IP multivision application vm_dmv, based on V__matrix, offers high-quality functionalities for 4K/3G/HD/SD. Lawo's LVP multi-image processor enables the vm_dmv multiviewer to display both production (SDI/ ST2110/ ST2022-6) and broadcast (MPEG-2/H.264/HEVC/OTT-ABR) formats on a single screen for OTT/playout.

Alexey Brusnitskiy, director of technology at TV Center, states that television has decided to adopt this system “in order to be prepared for the future challenges of television production and distribution.” Satisfied with the installation, he comments that “IP technology offers the maximum level of flexibility and efficiency in workflows, while providing the best possible reliability and security for our productions and our network.”
