New creative possibilities with the integration between Viz Media Engine and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6
Vizrt attends this IBC 2012 to present its solutions capable of integrating video and graphics into any device.
The world is changing with a fusion of video and graphics every day with greater spectacularity and brilliance. The transition from SD, through HDTV, 2.5K, 4K and 8K will mean new responses combined with an explosion of devices and distribution platforms and the generalization of broadband networks such as fiber is also representing an important revolution.
In this environment, Vizrt attends this IBC 2012 to present its solutions capable of integrating video and graphics into any device.
Vizrt is showing how its Viz Media Engine platform builds a bridge between the client's MAM and the different solutions that the company provides.
In the case of Viz Engine, compared to a traditional workflow with an SDI input and SDI output, it allows us not to be locked into SDI signals but rather to open up a whole world of IP connectivity. Another advantage is the possibility of carrying out real-time editing with playout also in real time.
At IBC 2012 we are being able to see first-hand new integration tools between Viz Media Engine and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. This integration will offer editors greater efficiency and productivity by being able to search and select material from Viz Media Engine with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, being able to directly access the EDLs in Viz Media Engine as well as the possibility of organizing media offline.
Editorial staff can take videos to the core with Viz PreCut and Viz EasyCut proxy editors from their editorial systems. When materials have been saved in Viz Media Engine, the EDL is sent along with the metadata. Editors using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 can then open those EDLs and finish editing.
But news editors not only have to access the material that arrives every day, but also the archival material. Older content is typically moved to deeper LTO storage once the news has aired.
However, Viz Media Engine with the Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 extension allows editors to trig offline content for a complete timeline.
Interaction with the audience
On the other hand, it should be noted that Vizrt has signed a strategic technological alliance with Never.no. in order to encourage audience interaction in real time through Facebook, Twitter and applications on third screens with a strong interactive graphic presence.
With this agreement, Vizr and Never.no intend to provide the market with end-to-end solutions to connect audiences directly with the action on television. To date, the two companies have already carried out numerous innovations in the industry, such as an advanced application for the Tour de France.
This agreement will give Never.no access to a growing network of broadcasters using Vizrt products, while Vizrt will benefit from the best solutions to offer social TV to its graphics clients.
