Imagina France acquires six LDXs from Grass Valley
The new cameras will be installed as part of an upgrade being carried out on Imagina France's mobile units covering the French first division
Imagina France has placed an order for six LDX Series cameras with expandable software. Grass Valley. The cameras will be installed as part of an upgrade being carried out on Imagina France's mobile units covering the first division of the French football league. The cameras will record practically all of the matches that Imagina France covers.
The LDX camera series (LDX Première, LDX Elite and LDX WorldCam) combine flexibility, operational excellence and imaging capability. These cameras have been built based on Xensium FT's self-developed image generator, which offers the same sensitivity in 1080p and 1080i/720p.
“There is an increasing need for a camera system that can cover any type of live event, in any environment or format – regardless of whether it is HD or 3D, and it is precisely for this reason that we have chosen Grass Valley,” comments Louis Zumelzu, General Director of Imagina France. “We have always considered it important to have a long-term effective system and the LDX series, with its upgradeable software capabilities, allows us to expand our functionality as our imaging requirements change.”
Imagina France has also chosen the LDX camera for its ability to capture footage in 1080p under low light conditions, in addition to its operational performance capabilities.
