Carburando acquires 14 LDK 8000 Elite HD cameras from Grass Valley
The Argentine production company owned by Grupo Clarín acquires fourteen HD cameras of the LDK 8000 Elite WorldCam model from Grass Valley with triax transmission for its main mobile unit.
As part of its plan to migrate to high definition, Carburando, an Argentine production company owned by Grupo Clarín and specialized in motor sports, has acquired fourteen HD cameras of the LDK 8000 Elite WorldCam model for its main mobile unit. Grass Valley with triax transmission.
In its SD production vehicle, Carburando until now used LDK cameras and triaxial cables, and wanted to maintain as much uniformity as possible in its evolution to HD. After analyzing all the available high definition cameras, they opted for the LDK 8000 Elite for its image quality as well as its easy integration and familiarity with operators.
Accustomed to working with extreme temperatures, Carburando has recognized the ability of the LDK 8000 Elite to work consistently and reliably in all types of conditions.
Pablo Kotodij, technical director of Carburando, has recognized that "we wanted to use triax connectivity because it is resistant and reliable, and we have a lot invested in triaxial cables. Grass Valley's LDK 8000 Elite cameras with the HD Triax transmission system allow us to have robust and stable cable runs, without any risk to the quality of the signal."
For his part, Jeff Rosica, executive VP of Grass Valley, highlighted that “sports production companies are standardizing on Grass Valley cameras because they offer functionality, quality and simplicity of operation when clients work under pressure.”
