IDIFF 2013 hosts the exclusive screening of 'Samsara' in Sony 4K
Sony's SRX-R515 4K digital cinema projection system has made it possible to enjoy this documentary with the highest image quality, doing justice to a production that took five years of recording in more than 100 locations around the world.
Sony Digital Cinema has been very present at the International Digital Film Forum (IDIFF) in Paris held this week.
Attendees from across the film industry attended the exclusive 4K preview of the acclaimed film on the 22nd. Samsara.

Oliver Pasch, director of Sony Digital Cinema at Sony Europe, highlighted that "IDIFF offers sector specialists a unique opportunity to meet and discuss the latest developments. Samsara is an extraordinary example of what is achieved when image quality, dynamism and detail are combined at the highest level to offer the best possible experience to the viewer."
Sony Digital Cinema has presented the preview of Samsara in association with the independent French distributor ARP Sélection and with R2D1, specialist in the sale and installation of digital cinema systems.
Maxime Rigauld, commercial manager of R2D1, acknowledges that "since we started working with Sony last year it has been a pleasure to participate in events such as the Marrakesh film festival and IDIFF 2013, which mark a new direction in a market where the adoption of 4K and receptivity towards the considerable improvement it represents for the viewing experience is growing.
