The Social Council of the Polytechnic University of Valencia rewards the work of Brainstorm

The UPV awards the University-Society Cooperation award in the Social Council Awards that recognize the excellence and innovation of the university community, both students and examples of University-Business collaboration, Teaching Innovation, Research and Knowledge Transfer.

Brainstorm receives the University-Society Cooperation from the Polytechnic University of Valencia

Brainstorm Multimedia has received the University-Society Cooperation award at the Awards of the Social Council of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, in an event chaired by Rafael Ferrando, president of the Social Council of the Polytechnic, and which was attended on the 24th by Juan Juliá, rector of the UPV, and Alberto Fabra, president of the Generalitat Valenciana.

The awards recognize the excellence and innovation of the university community, both students and examples of University-Business collaboration, Teaching Innovation, Research and Knowledge Transfer.

Brainstorm Multimedia has obtained the University – Society Cooperation award in the R&D Cooperation category in recognition of the development of relations between the University and Society. Thus, Brainstorm has collaborated with the University in various projects such as the application of technologies for the comprehensive fight against forest fires and the conservation of our forests, and the use of technologies for the automated and intelligent management of the energy distribution networks of the future.

The award was collected by Ricardo Montesa, founder and president of Brainstorm Multimedia, who received it from Alberto Fabra, President of the Valencian Community. In his acceptance speech, Ricardo Montesa highlighted Brainstorm's determined contribution to Corporate Social Responsibility, reflected in different research projects aimed at society, as well as the history of collaboration between Brainstorm and the Polytechnic University in different areas. Ricardo Montesa also recalled that an important part of the Brainstorm team has been trained at the UPV.
