Just starting the year, Shure's innovation has earned it several international awards such as PAR Excellence, Reader's Choice Awards 2013 and TEC Awards.

Shure

As a result of its intense work in innovation developed in recent years, Shure Starts the year on the right foot, obtaining several prestigious awards.

PAR Excellency

The awards, awarded through online voting by readers of the prestigious audio publication Pro Audio Review, are based on nominations from their editors and contributors after evaluating the “real-life” use of different products.

ULX-D from Shure won the award in the category of “Best wireless microphone system” ahead of WMS470 from AKG, HH Digital Hybrid Wireless from Lectrosonics, XD-V70 from Line 6, KK 204/KK 205 capsules from Neumann and XS Series from Sennheiser.

The arguments for the choice were the latest updates to the system, its short range that allows greater channel density and, of course, the performance that Shure has historically demonstrated.

Reader’s Choice Awards 2013

This year's resolution of the awards it grants Prosoundweb, based entirely on the votes of its readers, has been hotly contested. In each of the categories the results were very close, combining the presence and strength of the products and their brands with the different preferences of the largest online community within the professional audio industry.

In this case, Shure managed to win 3 of the awards:

PSM 1000 won the award for “Best in-ear monitoring system”. For its part, the new KSM9HS , emerged as the winner for “Best Condenser Microphone for Performance”, leaving behind the VX5 from Audix and the ATM450 from Audio-Technica.

And in the “Wireless microphone systems” category, the winner was the premium system Axient , compared to Sennheiser's 3000 and 5000 series.

TEC Awards

The 28 annual awards TEC, awarded by the foundation of the same name as the culmination of the NAMM fair, reward the professionals, companies and technical innovations that have stood out during the year in the audio industry. The awards are awarded by a panel of members from different organizations and websites in the sector.

In the “Wireless Technology” category, Axient has also managed to beat a large group of competitors: DMS70D Digital Wireless from AKG, System 8 Wireless from Audio-Technica, HH Handheld Transmitter from Lectrosonics, XD-V75 Digital Wireless System from Line 6 and DWX-02 Series Digital Wireless from Sony.
