SprintCam Vvs HD Ultra Motion de I-Movix en KBS

Korean public broadcaster KBS has invested in SprintCam Vvs HD Ultra Motion technology I-Movix. This solution that provides spectacular super slow motion images will be used for coverage of football, volleyball, basketball and baseball.

Although KBS has been using ultra motion systems for rent for some time, a few months ago it decided to test three systems in depth to finally choose one.

Hwang Sutaek, director of the outdoor broadcast department at KBS, admits that "during testing, we were deeply impressed by the I-Movix SprintCam Vvs HD Ultra Motion. In fact, our basic requirement was reliable image quality at relatively high frame rates above 1000fps, but the SprintCam Vvs HD also offered us the best feature set and ease of use, so it ultimately won out over the other options. Now, we can't wait. "Look forward to the next development of new I-MoviX products such as the deflickering system."

The SprintCam Vvs HD ultra Motion system stands out for combining high image quality, great light sensitivity, and flexible integration into the workflow. The system delivers 25 to 2,600 fps in 1080i or up to 5,600 fps in 720p, with instant replay. It includes the latest generation of Vision Research technology, and an operational control panel that provides true broadcast quality color matrix and frame rate selection control allows the user to select a video sequence and immediately repeat it with an HD-SDI output for live streaming or storage on any EVS server for later use.

The SprintCam Vvs HD system chosen by KBS was supplied by Korean distributor D2S.
