Enrique Alejo, new corporate general director of RTVE
Since January 2012, he had been holding the position of general director of Gambling Regulation of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations.
The board of directors of RTVE has approved, at the proposal of president Leopoldo González Echenique, the appointment of Enrique Alejo as the new corporate general director.
Enrique Alejo González (1959) has a doctorate in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid and a commercial technician and state economist by competitive examination since 1985. He has held various positions of responsibility within the Spanish economic and commercial administration, such as general director of Commerce and Investment, economic and commercial advisor in the offices of Quito (Ecuador) and Chicago (United States) and director of the training and advisory division of the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (Icex).
In the field of public companies, he has been president of the Madrid 94 State Society, director of the Center for Commercial Studies Foundation, director of international relations at INECO and director of Coordination and Institutional Relations at Navantia.
Likewise, he has been a member of the board of directors of the National Uranium Company, the Philippine Company, and the Export Credit Insurance Company (CESCE).
