Qube Cinema expands its QubeMaster family with Preview

Post-production companies, production companies and companies specialized in mastering can now, thanks to this solution, have quick and direct access to check the quality of their DCPs.

Qube Cinema has expanded its DCPS preview solution, QubeMaster, now with the Preview version.
This version, which can be seen at CineEurope in Barcelona from June 24 to 27, allows the preview of CCPS, mastered from any source, on a PC.

Post-production companies, production companies and companies specialized in mastering can now, thanks to this solution, have quick and direct access to check the quality of their DCPs.

QubeMaster Preview provides QubeMaster Xport and QubeMaster

Preview allows you to ingest a DCP along with your KDM and simulate digital playback of an encrypted server, unencrypted as well as stereoscopic DCPs.

Eric Bergez, director of sales and marketing at Qube Cinema, has assured that "users asked us for a simple and cheap way to master their DCPs on a simple PC. With Qubemaster Preview they have a player and DCP quality control without the need to carry out full and expensive mastering with DCI equipment."

Qubemaster Preview is the latest addition to the Qubemaster family of digital film mastering products, which includes: Qubemaster Pro, the system aimed at high-end post-production companies and distribution service providers; Qubemaster Packager, for ingestion, preview, encryption and generation of the DCP DKM; Qubemaster Xpress 2.0, the easy-to-use standalone Windows-based DCP application; and Qubemaster Xport 2.0 for Mac OS X users.
