PLASA 2013 opens its doors in London
Until October 9, PLASA brings together numerous audio and lighting professionals at the ExCel Center in London. This year the organization has chosen to delay the event for a few weeks, avoiding the uncomfortable coincidence with IBC.
From October 6 to 9, a new edition of PLASA Show will be held at the ExCel center. This year the organization has chosen to delay the event for a few weeks, avoiding the uncomfortable coincidence of holding the fair on the same dates as IBC.
On the other hand, PLASA opens its venue at London's ExCel which will result, according to Chris Toulmin, event director of the fair, in "a truly bigger, brighter and stronger event. We are very proud to present AudioLab that brings the latest in audio technology to the foreground in a variety of environments, and the Professional Development Program that will bring together numerous experts in their fields, who will share their vast knowledge, experiences and wise advice with PLASA visitors."
Among the parallel activities, AudioLab 2013 stands out, a professional meeting that this year has a new professional audio field, the theater and the interactive laboratory that allows visitors to experience the cutting edge of professional audio. For its part, Arena AudioLab, sponsored by MediaLease and supported by Roland as a technical partner, is a space specially designed for demonstrations while the AudioLab Theater has three seminars on live sound, installation and business sound.
PLASA 2013 has more than 250 exhibitors, many of them with new products, technology and services that are presented for the first time at this fair.
