Turner Broadcasting names Jamie Friend vice president of strategy and business development

Previously he was strategy director for digital platforms at Arqiva.

TurnerTurner Broadcasting has appointed Jamie Friend as vice president of strategy and business development for the EMEA region.

Friend will carry out the identification of internal and external growth opportunities, as well as supporting the resulting investment. He will report to Vice President and Head of EMEA Operations, Peter Flamman. Previously he was strategy director for digital platforms at Arqiva.

Flamman said: "Friend's role is very important to the growth of our business. Jamie brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge across a wide range of European markets in the industry's key frontline environments. I am confident that he will be a great asset to our team and business in the future."
