Xavier De Vynck, new vice president of New Market Development at EVS

EVS has appointed Xavier De Vynck as new Vice President of New Market Development, with a special focus on Media Asset Management and Archiving.

Xavier De Vynck will now assume the vice presidency of New Market Development at the Belgian company EVS.

De Vynck has worked in the broadcast industry for the last two decades. Before joining EVS, he led strategic business development at Avid, successfully introducing the company into new markets. Previously he was Vice President of EMEA at Genesis Networks, a US company specialized in creating fiber connectivity solutions for media companies.

De Vynck was also Vice President of Business Development at the French company Netia, where he worked since 1997, also holding other positions such as director of international sales, marketing and sales. Now at EVS De Vynck will focus on developing new markets with entirely new solutions dedicated specifically to advanced digital archiving and media management and monetization. These new solutions, based on combined broadcast, computing and web technology, are already used by major international sports federations to create maximum value from their media.
