The new Media Networks management center in Lurín, now operational

Media Networks launched its new satellite management center in Lurín, 40 km south of Lima, from where it manages its wholesale pay television (DTH) and satellite internet (ISAT) services for more than 45 operations in 17 countries, and which constitutes the most important pay television and internet satellite hub in Latin America.

Lurín's new NOC integrates solutions from leading global providers and allows us to follow 24 hours a day and in real time the status of the more than 45 internet and satellite television operations that we serve in the region. In addition, it gives us an immediate response capacity in the event of any eventuality, guaranteeing safety and quality. of the service our clients receive” says Pedro Planas, CTO of Media Networks.

All aspects of Media Networks' satellite operation are managed from the new NOC, integrating the teams responsible for platform management, wholesale TV and satellite internet operations, IT systems, monitoring, quality assurance and customer service.

This modern satellite management center was built and equipped in the last 12 months on an area of ​​1,000 m² within the Lurín teleport facilities, and integrates services, solutions and technologies from leading providers such as Hughes, Nagra, Intraway, Thomson, Eurocom and Atento, among others.

En el marco de este proyecto construyó dos hubs de ISAT-KA en Laredo (EE UU) y Arica (Chile), que son ahora gestionados desde el nuevo centro de gestión satelital de Lurín.
