Lightworks incorporates important improvements in its version 11.1.1

Compatibility with Windows 8.1 and countless improvements for H.264/MP4 video handling, main improvements in the new version of Editshare's non-linear editing software.

Editshare has included in the latest version of its Lightworks editing software compatibility with Windows 8.1 and countless improvements for H.264/MP4 video handling, allowing users to navigate and import this type of media much faster.

Matt Sandford, Product Manager at Lightworks, regarding this version 11.1.1, maintains that "as we have crossed the line with this version, we will be focused on the next major version 11.5. Lightworks 11.5 will see big changes in the user interface and will synchronize development on Windows and Linux. It is also an important springboard to version 12 that will bring the three platforms (Windows, Linux and OS X) together."

Lightworks is the only non-linear editor that works on all three major platforms.
