Panasonic announces its new Toughpad 4K UT-MA6 tablet
It has a 20″ IPS Alpha LCD screen with a resolution of 3,840×2,560 pixels and a 15:10 ratio.
Following the announcement of its first 20″ 4K tablet last year (UT-MB5), Panasonic has previewed the new tablet for professional environments Toughpad 4K UT-MA6 that will begin to be sold at the end of February in the United States.
With a price that will be around $6,000, the new tablet has an Intel Core i7-3687U vPro processor with an NVIDIA Quadro K1000M GPU, as well as a 20″ IPS Alpha LCD screen with a resolution of 3,840×2,560 pixels and a 15:10 ratio.
It has 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD drive, as well as mDP connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, SDXC card slot, smart card reader and gigabit Ethernet port.
Being a professional tablet, it offers greater resistance than a normal tablet, since Panasonic has provided it with more resistant materials that are capable of withstanding a drop of 76 centimeters. With 12mm. thick and 2.5 kg, it has a battery that gives it an autonomy of 2.5 hours.
