TVOne launches Corio2, its new generation of climbers

TVOne just launched Corio2 The new C2-2855 is the first in a new generation of high-performance scalers that provide high-quality video scaling and format conversion with the benefits of an intuitive user interface.

The C2-2855 universal scaler offers greater input and output flexibility than the brand's previous models. It can be configured and managed through a redesigned front panel or through an external control panel that allows it to be configured in less than a third of the time required by the previous generation. The front panel, for its part, helps with quick configuration thanks to categorized menus and a dozen presets.
The C2-2855 enables flexible audio embedding and de-embedding for HDMI and 3G/HD/SD inputs/outputs. To this we must add an integrated 4x1 stereo audio switcher with four unbalanced inputs that can follow the video input selection. A rear panel terminal block and a 3.5mm jack-socket connector provide direct access to audio monitoring.

The new equipment provides bidirectional conversion between a variety of analog and digital video formats, including SD/HD/3G-SDI, HDMI, DVI, composite video, YC, YUV, YPbPr or RFB. One of its features is the possibility of keying one image over another with an in/out fader from 4:4:4 RGB sources, and all with pixel-level precision. The scaler allows you to store up to five images to have logos at any time, for example.
Transitions allow for seamless cuts, fades or wipes between different input sources, as well as picture-in-picture that can be placed anywhere on the screen. Image locking allows different resolutions to be used regardless of frame rate.

The unit is housed in a desktop case and can be rack-mounted with an optional 19-inch rack mounting kit that holds one or two units.
