The comedy 'The food guide to love', selected for the Berlinale

the movie The food guide to love, owned by Telefónica Studios, Telefónica's global audiovisual content production company, has been selected by the Berlin Festival to participate in the Culinary Cinema section of the next edition of the Berlinale 2014, which will be held between February 6 and 16.

The film is a romantic comedy set in Dublin and performed by Leonor Watling and Ginés García Millán. The film tells the romantic relationship between an Irish food critic and a passionate Spanish woman totally different from him. Its fun relationship, with cooking and feelings as common threads, are the main ingredients.

Co-directors Teresa De Pelegrí and Dominic Harari (loved ones) explain that the title The food guide to love It is derived from the protagonist's journalistic column, in which “he uses gastronomic metaphors to describe his romantic life.”

With this new co-production, Telefónica Studios continues its support for quality feature films. The film's participation in the 2014 Berlinale occurs at the same time as four films from Telefónica Studios (football, The German doctor, Grand Plan y A night in old Mexico) are competing for a prize in the next edition of the 2014 Goya Awards.
