The Association of Entertainment Chroniclers of New York awards María Pujalte and 'España a ras de cielo', from TVE
The 2014 ACE Awards will celebrate their 46th edition on April 12 in New York.
The New York Entertainment Writers Association has announced the winners of the 2014 ACE Awards in the Film and Television categories, which will be presented during its annual gala on Saturday, April 12, at the Kaufman Center in New York. Among the winners, María Pujalte, in the category of best TV actress, and as Best Cultural Program, Spain at sky level, presented by Francis Lorenzo.
The president of the ACE, the Dominican journalist Fernando Campos, together with the institution's honorary commissioner, the Cuban Manolo García-Oliva, were in charge of announcing the winners of the 46th edition of these prestigious awards.
The Galician actress María Pujalte, who plays a peculiar police inspector in Laura's mysteries, which is currently broadcast on La 1 on TVE, has been chosen as best television actress. For its part, Spain at sky level (a journey through our country, through the history, through the people and through the life of Spain) has won the award for Best Cultural Program.
Two new international awards from the Association of Entertainment Reporters of New York that add to those won in previous editions by TVE productions. The most recent, those achieved last year by Isabel (best cultural program/series, actress and supporting actor) and the movie snow white, which has the participation of the public network, and which won three awards: best film, actress and actor.
