Robe buys its range of portable LED lighting solutions from GDS

The complete LiteWare range can now be seen at the Robe stand at the next Prolight+Sound (Frankfurt).

The Czech Robe Lighting announced this Monday the acquisition of the complete range of portable LED lighting solutions from the British Global Design Solutions (GDS).

From now on, the sales, marketing, manufacturing and support of this range of products will be in the hands of Robe and will be available through the company's subsidiaries and its global network of distributors.

Josef Valchar, CEO of Robe, acknowledges that "we had been planning to enter the battery LED market for some time, so when we had the opportunity to acquire the market-leading brand the die was cast. GDS has done a great job in launching this product range and I know we can develop it further and add global sales through our network."
