CSS Audiovisual shows in Barcelona all the post-production potential of Nuage

Until February 28, CSS Audiovisual organizes a conference in Barcelona in which it shows the new Nuage post-production system, the result of the close collaboration of Steinberg and Yamaha.

CSS Audiovisual are organizing from this Monday to Friday, February 28, a conference in which they present the new Nuage post-production system, the result of the close collaboration of Steinberg y Yamaha.

The sessions, which take place at the CSS Audiovisual headquarters, are personalized, so prior registration is necessary.
Steinberg and Yamaha personnel carry out the product demonstrations, answering participants' questions.

Nuage combines hardware and software elements to form a sophisticated audio post-production system. It consists of various audio interfacing and acceleration options, both analog and digital, synchronization hardware and combinable elements to form a custom control surface.

The heart of the system is the Nuendo software, with a series of additional modifications/extensions that accommodate the complete set, (monitoring and management of monitors via DSP, integration into Dante networks,...)

Nuage components intercommunicate with each other and with up to three DAWs, through a Dante network. Includes a low-latency PCIe Dante card for Mac and PC, with up to 128 simultaneous and bidirectional channels at 192kHz, or 256 channels at 96kHz.

The hardware is modular and has these components:

  • Nuage Fader control surfaces: align with the LCD displays providing visual continuity with the Nuendo mixing window.
  • Nuage Master control unit: includes what you need to edit with Nuendo and manage sessions.
  • Nuage Workspace Drives – Can be used to integrate third-party hardware and custom options.
  • Three Nuage I/O units: provide analog inputs and outputs, 16 AES/EBU or eight digital and eight analog.
  • PCIe Dante Accelerator Card: Provides lower latency to the computer running Nuendo, as well as multi-channel audio transfer capabilities, with redundancy.
