I Panorama Awards for excellence and innovation in the audiovisual industry

Panorama Audiovisual establishes awards that aim to recognize excellence, technological development and innovation of companies, professionals and productions in television, film, radio and advertising. Panorama readers will be able to vote until April 21 for the three finalists in each category who will form the shortlist from which a jury, made up of prominent independent professionals, will choose a winner.

Panorama Audiovisual, a reference publication for audiovisual professionals, with the aim of promoting technological innovation in the audiovisual sector, has established the 1st Panorama Awards.

These awards aim to recognize excellence, technological development and innovation of companies, professionals and productions in television, film, radio and advertising.

The objective of these awards is to energize the sector by promoting organizations to make better use of technology to be competitive, as well as recognizing the most innovative projects and productions.

Categories

The thirteen categories of these awards recognize equipment and technological solutions, installations and projects, as well as the technical execution of television and radio programs, film productions and spots.

Added to these categories is the Panorama Lifetime Award, which will be awarded annually by direct designation by the Panorama Audiovisual editorial team to a professional in recognition of a long career linked to technology in television, film, radio or advertising. This award will be announced in the near future.

The winner selection process consists of two phases. In a first phase, from March 20 to April 21, Panorama Audiovisual readers will be able to vote through this page for a finalist in each category among the five nominees proposed by the publication's editors or designate their own.

The three most voted candidates in each category will be made public on April 22 and will move on to a second phase in which a Jury, made up of eleven independent professionals of recognized solvency and in a secret vote before a Notary, will choose each of the winners in accordance with these bases.

To preserve independence and transparency throughout the process, the members of the Jury and their verdict will only be announced on the same night as the Panorama Awards.

The presentation gala of the 1st Panorama Audiovisual Awards will take place in the evening of next Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at IFEMA (Madrid), coinciding with the opening of the International Audiovisual Technology Exhibition Broadcast BIT 2014.
