Next-Gen Audiovisual Forum en VDS Valencia 2024

Innovation in the audiovisual and entertainment industry will have its own forum within VDS, one of the most important international technological events in southern Europe and the platform that turns Valencia into a leading hub in innovation, entrepreneurship and investment worldwide.

The Next-Gen Audiovisual Forum', promoted jointly by Gelify y Startup Valencia, will bring together prominent international experts, large corporations and the most disruptive startups to debate, explore and share knowledge on the most relevant topics in terms of innovation and technology in the audiovisual and entertainment industry.

Un foro dedicado a la innovación y las tendencias en Audiovisual, Media & Entertainment que tendrá lugar el próximo October 23 and 24 in the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia and will offer an analysis of how this industry has been able to transform in recent years, what are the new ways of consuming content and a vision about the future of the sector, among other topics.

For two days, the VDS Audiovisual Stage, a space developed in collaboration with Gellify, the global innovation company that helps companies in their transformation process, will be the epicenter of technological innovation in the audiovisual and entertainment sector. A forum in which attendees will have the opportunity to explore how the OTT technology is revolutionizing the way we consume content, discover the impact of artificial intelligence and the automation in video production and editing, learn how technology is transforming the way users interact with sports and entertainment or immerse yourself in the world of immersive videos, among other issues.

The forum has the support of the Generalitat Valenciana in order to position the brand Valencian Community as a space for audiovisual innovation of international reference, highlighting the reopening of the City of Light studios in Alicante, supporting the companies of the Valencian Audiovisual Cluster, giving opportunities for co-productions, generating new companies and capturing new filming through the Film Commission of the Valencian Community.

For its part, Juan Luis Hortelano, president of Startup Valencia, adds that "VDS is an international technological event that turns the city into an innovative hub, analyzes innovation trends and generates work and collaboration spaces in different sectors; so the creation of this forum is great news to focus on disruptive solutions that impact or emerge from the audiovisual industry."

VDS has become one of the most important technological events on the calendar for the innovation ecosystem worldwide. Last year alone, this event organized by Startup Valencia generated an economic impact that exceeded 12 million euros, brought together 12,000 professionals from 91 countries, to 2,200 startups and more than 700 investors with assets under management valued at more than 30,000 million euros.

The organization estimates to break all its records again in this seventh edition whose motto is Embracing evolution: Invest in the leaders of tomorrow, putting the focus of analysis on the technological revolution. One of the new features this year is the agreement with Gellify, the global innovation platform.
