Great display of Neotécnica at AFIAL 2014

Neotécnica participates in AFIAL 2014, which is being held these days at the Madrid Arena, presenting a wide portfolio of the latest solutions from its represented brands.

Among the news that Neotecnica shows in its 120m² stand at AFIAL 2014, it is worth not losing sight of the digital mixing system Avid S3L, con unas prestaciones hasta ahora inéditas en productos de su tamaño y peso, las revolucionarias soluciones de conectividad de Neutrik, y las nuevas propuestas de AKG y Focal Professional. At AFIAL 2014, Neotécnica is carrying out demonstrations of the new Avid S3L live mixing system, also highlighting the new AAX processors for this platform. In the always crowded Avid demo space at the Neoténica stand we can also see proposals and plugins from some developers such as Sonnox that, in conjunction with the S3L system, are revolutionizing the way of live mixing.

New AKG WMS420 series

AFIAL is also the framework for the presentation in Spain of the new WMS420 wireless microphone family, which inherits the technology and superior sound of AKG and combines them into a flexible, easy-to-use and very affordable system. The complete system consists of the SR420 stationary receiver, the HT420 handheld transmitter and the PT420 bodypack transmitter. Some of the professional features of this system are the removable antennas of the SR420 receiver, which allow the use of professional accessories such as splitters and directional remote antennas. Other signs of the professional orientation of this system are the use of the D5 capsule in the HT420 handheld transmitter, as well as the external contacts for battery charging in said transmitter, as well as in the PT420 bodypack unit.

It is also a good idea not to lose sight of the new K812, an open dynamic headphone for reference. The K812 capsules have 53mm diaphragms. Their capacity to move air is very high, thus alleviating the low bass level that is usually found in open headphones. Although it is true that closed designs generally offer a good level of bass with much smaller diaphragms thanks to the masterful management of resonances and the enhancement of certain frequencies, thus moving away from the ideal of a neutral reference. The K812 transducer assembly is complemented by ultra-light double-layer voice coils, all to achieve an impressive operating frequency range between 5Hz and 54kHz.

Focal, exquisiteness in the studio

Recently premiered at Musikmesse, Neotécnica is demonstrating the new Alpha series of professional studio monitors at AFIAL Focal. With an unbeatable quality/price ratio. Its three monitors in the line, Alpha 50, Alpha 65 and Alpha 80 come equipped with exclusive Focal technologies such as an aluminum inverted dome tweeter or a Polyglass speaker. The “big brother” of these three monitors, it has an 8″ (21 cm) mid/bass woofer speaker with Polyglass cone and a 1″ 8 (25 mm) aluminum inverted dome tweeter.
